Last of our crew departed today, couldn’t have asked for a better group of sailors! Now it’s just us three for a while.
Made it to the Caribbean! Had a few issues, but boat is still floating and crew is safe. I count it as a success!
We are about to start the next phase of our journey and head down to the Caribbean! We leave Virginia and hope to get to the British Virgin Islands in about 10 days. Track our progress here: http://worldcruising.com/
The rally is leaving earlier than planned! Our crew of Greg, Graham and Tony will be arriving around 5pm today so we will be getting a later start than the rest of the fleet. They will arrive, jump on the boat and we’ll be off!
We are excited and just finishing up some last minute things and then away we go….
Nice pic of me swabbing the deck on the Caribbean 1500 site. . .

It is definitely time to move South!
You can tell you are back in Virginia when you hear the Navy contacting vessels in the way of their live missile firing exercises.
Beautiful last night in Annapolis! Potluck at the boatyard with great folks and a second goodbye to Tokkie, Gail and Byron.
